How did the ISA subscription limits change?

The government increased the amount that individuals are allowed to save or invest in an ISA each year:

  • As of 6 April 2017, the annual ISA allowance was changed to £20,000. This can be invested in cash, stocks and shares or any combination of the two. For more information regarding the ISA allowance, please visit http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/isa/new-isa-faq.pdf
