How have the ISA subscription limits changed?
The government is increasing the amount that individuals are allowed to save or invest in an ISA each year:
- From 6 April 2017, the annual ISA allowance will be £20,000. This can be invested in cash, stocks and shares or any combination of the two. For more information regarding the new ISA allowance, please visit http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/isa/new-isa-faq.pdf
Who is affected by these changes?
The new increased ISA subscription limits will apply to all eligible savers.
If I have an existing cash ISA with Teachers' Building Society, when can I take advantage of the new limits?
