Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter is: Teachers Building Society which is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. Registration Number 156580. Principal Office: Allenview House, Hanham Road, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 1AG
  2. Employees of Teachers Building Society or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
  3. This competition is open to teachers only.
  4. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter. Entrants must "like" the TBS Facebook page or "follow" us on Twitter and comment on the Facebook or Twitter post, telling us that they are a teacher without telling us that they are a teacher (memes/images welcome).
  5. Only one entry to the prize draw per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
  6. Closing date for entry will be 9am on Friday 28th May 2021. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted. The winner will be notified within 24 hours to try and arrange timely delivery of the box of biscuits.
  7. Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
  8. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  9. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  10. The prize is 2 x boxes of biscuits (one on Facebook and one on Twitter). No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. The prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prizes with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  11. The winners (one from Twitter and one from Facebook) will be selected from all entries received and verified by promoter.
  12. The promoter will liaise with the winner(s) to agree when and where the prize will be sent.
  13. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. By entering this competition, an entrants are indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  15. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  16. The winners agree to the use of his/her name in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  17. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Teachers Building Society and not to any other party.
