Dorset building society, Teachers, has once again been named a finalist in the prestigious Moneyfacts Awards in the ‘Best No Notice Account Provider’ category. It’s the third time in 4 years that the Wimborne-based mutual has made the shortlist, having achieved commended status in both 2009 and 2010.
The Moneyfacts Awards are viewed as the pinnacle of the personal finance industry’s accolades and the Dorset society is alongside banking giants such as Santander and Virgin Money in the shortlist.
Alan Gravett, Head of Sales & Marketing at Teachers Building Society, said: "We’re delighted to be in the shortlist once again, particularly as the current market environment poses such a challenge in terms of providing competitive rates to our customers. The Moneyfacts Group undertakes a rigorous process of product monitoring and consultation in order to identify the best product providers, and as a smaller player, it’s fantastic recognition for how hard we strive to consistently provide the best rates we possibly can.”
The Moneyfacts Awards ceremony will take place on Friday 25th May at the London Marriott Hotel.
The Society’s Regular Saver, Cash ISA Reward and Business Saver accounts have all featured heavily in the Moneyfacts Best Buy charts over the last year.
