Legal & General are pleased to announce that Teachers Building Society has joined the Mortgage Club.
Teachers Building Society, based in Dorset, was established to help teachers and those people who have a direct or close working relationship with education to own their own home and also offer them a range of savings products.
The building society recently returned to the intermediary market in May, recognising that many consumers want the services and products that a mortgage broker can offer.
Legal & General Mortgage Club, whose members include specialist mortgage intermediaries, IFA’s and Legal & General’s business partners, is one of the largest mortgage distribution networks in the country and this new deal ensures that advisers can benefit from Teachers extensive expertise and knowledge in this field, combined with a range of competitive and attractive mortgages.
Martyn Smith, Head of Mortgage Products, Legal & General Mortgage Club, said, “I am delighted to welcome Teachers Building Society to the Mortgage Club. They have a dedicated team that offer a unique and bespoke underwriting service with a very personalised customer service. Our members now have access to a range of mortgages specifically for those working in education.”
Alan Gravett, Head of Sales and Marketing for Teachers Building Society said, “We returned to the Intermediary market in May and so are now delighted to be joining the Legal & General Mortgage Club. We have been providing mortgages for professionals working in education for nearly 50 years and we are confident that our products and expertise in this field will prove a valuable support to mortgage intermediaries.”
