Customers of Teachers Building Society can now get
straight through to a member of staff when they call during office hours
following the removal of the Society’s automated phone system.
Instead of hearing a recorded menu when the freephone
or switchboard numbers are dialled, customers now get straight through
to a member of the Teachers team.
Alan Gravett, head of sales & marketing, says “We
know that many people dislike automated phone systems so we’ve found a
way for our customers to avoid using them altogether. These lines go
straight through to staff so there’s no irritating menu and customer
queries can be dealt with as speedily as possible.”
