Teachers Building Society achieved commended status
in the Best No Notice Account Provider category at the 2010 Moneyfacts
Awards.
The awards, which took place at the Mayfair Hotel
in London recently, acknowledged the best providers in a range of
personal finance categories and are among the most coveted endorsements
in the finance industry. Hosted by ITN’s Daisy McAndrew, the awards are
presented to providers judged to offer the most competitive products,
the best service and the greatest innovation over the last year.
Alan Gravett, Head of Sales & Marketing at
Teachers Building Society, says “We’re delighted to have been commended
by Moneyfacts for the consistent rates we provide to our members,
particularly for our competitive easy access account, Call Save. Most of
the other providers awarded were the larger banks and building
societies, so it’s a great achievement for us and acknowledges our
commitment to providing an excellent service alongside great products.”
Founded in 1966, Teachers Building Society has
enjoyed continued strength, reporting a profit both in 2009 and 2008
despite the unprecedented backdrop of a record-low Bank of England Base
Rate and a challenging economic environment.
