PR & Social Media Officer

​Location: ​Dorset (Head Office: Wimborne, ​Dorset)
​Hours:  Full-Time

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a PR & Social Media Officer to develop and maintain the Society's profile and manage the Society's social media strategy. 

As part of your role, you will develop relationships with the local, national, trade and education media, maximising external publicity wherever possible through press releases and articles. You will manage all of the Society's social media platforms, creating content and managing competitions regularly. You will write and create monthly customer emails, and organise events such as exhibitions and seminars. 

This is an exciting opportunity to help make a significant contribution to the long term success of an organisation that passionately believes in putting the customer at the very heart of everything it does.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Experienced communications professional
  • Experience of managing social media platforms 
  • Experience of content and email management platforms
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and Indesign
