£50 for Schools

To celebrate our anniversary we ran a £50 to 50 schools prize draw. Here, we take a look at some of the ways the £50 was spent in schools around the UK.

“Thank you so much for the £50 Amazon voucher that you sent us! We were delighted to win something for our school. We have used this money towards buying books for a few children whose parents are going through separation or divorce as we have found these children are really struggling emotionally. We have found great books about ‘living in 2 houses’, ‘why is mummy always cross’, ‘It’s not your fault…’ etc. I believe these books will benefit these children greatly, so thank you again!”
Sandra Case, Highfield Preschool

"I am going to spend it on an end of term bouncy castle treat for the children."

Trudie Colotto,  Croft Church of England Primary School

“I would like to use this prize towards some resources for Judo Time. My department provides extra support to our young people who struggle with literacy and numeracy. By providing  one to one lessons, we are able to target specific areas of learning by using the mastery system, that ensures success for the young person.”
Mrs June Baker, Lever Park School

"The money was used in the science department to go towards some new equipment."
 Bridgwater College Academy, Bridgwater
